We have a long standing service relationship with this provider and are delighted to share with you the work carried out!
What industrial equipment was replaced?
Our customers original sliding security gate had been fitted many years ago and was well overdue an upgrade. Anglia Door Systems identified that the new Lotracker Sliding Security Gate as the ideal solution for traffic control with its impeccable record of being reliable and efficient. It also contains safety features such as:
- Vehicle detector loops
- Safety photocell beams and ultra-sonic sensors
- Safety edges
- Signage, audible alarms and flashing beacons
The Lotracker Sliding Security Gate has an operating speed of 225-500mm/second dependent on configuration, which was important for our customers security that the gate can slide open and shut promptly.
How does the Lotracker Sliding Gate work?
The Lotracker Sliding Security Gate is a sensor controlled gate which can be operated remotely. For visitors to the site, there is a communication console to use to speak to security. For staff, they have electronic access fobs for convenience of getting onto site.
The Lotracker Sliding Security Gate houses a motor gear box and control panel which drives the unit.
For vehicles leaving the premises, an induction loop has been installed underneath the ground. The induction loop is connected to the control panel in the gate, which sends a signal whenever a vehicle has stopped on the allocated stop space in front of the gate. The sliding security gate then automatically opens with a traffic light signal which then closes automatically once the vehicle has passed.
The Lotracker Sliding Security Gate includes a drive wheel which smoothly operates the opening and closing of the gate. Check out our video here for a detailed view on how it works.
