An efficient tool used to bridge the difference in height and distance between the dock floor and vehicle.
What are Dock Levellers?

They usually comprise of a simple metal plate that is raised from a stowed position and then lowered onto the back of the truck.
What types of Dock Levellers do we install?
- Hinged Lip – enables the dock leveller to cover the gap and height between the loading bay and the truck, allowing it to rest firmly on the loading bay.
- Telescopic Lip – provides a larger contact area between vehicle bed and dock leveller.
What safety functions do Dock Levellers contain?
Anglia Door Systems provide installations of Dock Levellers that can be operated with a ‘deadman open – deadman close’ technique. This means that the user operating the Dock Leveller has to hold their finger on the control button in order to raise/lower the Dock Leveller. Once they have removed their finger, the operation of the Dock Leveller stops.
Alternatively, we also provide installations of Dock Levellers that can be operated with an ‘impulse’ opening and close, which are push button once to raise and push once to lower.
These installations include fitting safety edges and photocells to ensure any resistance or obstruction to the operation of the Dock Leveller stops the operation.
Can Dock Levellers be maintained?
