Why standard doors fail in cold storage.
Managing a high temperature difference between rooms requires specialist engineering. Standard installations compromise safety and operational efficiency.
The Problem
Conventional single-curtain doors cannot effectively manage extreme temperature gaps (e.g., -25°C to +10°C). When open, warm air rushes in and cold air escapes, resulting in severe environmental mixing.
The Impact
This leads to immediate condensation forming on the floor, creating severe slip hazards. Heavy ice builds up on the door mechanisms, causing operational downtime, overworked refrigeration plants, and damaged stock.
Our Solution
Frigo 2 Air uses a double PVC curtain with a 200mm airspace. A lateral ventilation system recirculates air between the curtains at 10 m/s, creating a complete isolated barrier that actively prevents condensation and icing.

Single Curtain (Fails)
Warm air collides directly with cold air, rapidly forming ice on the door headers and creating heavy condensation that wets the floor.
FRIGO 2 AIR (Succeeds)
The integrated air curtain isolates the barrier. Even when the door is open, recirculating air maintains separation, ensuring floors stay dry and hardware stays ice-free.
